PROJECT QUESTION: S-37.1.G discusses pedestrian signal systems, but none are shown on plan nor does the spec call out the scope of the work. Is there a pedestrian signal system and if so what is the scope of the work?

Question: S-37.1.G discusses pedestrian signal systems, but none are shown on plan nor does the spec call out the scope of the work. Is there a pedestrian signal system and if so what is the scope of the work?

Response: Special Provision Section S-37.1.G reads - All pedestrian signal systems should be installed as shown in the Plan and must be constructed to meet the following criteria - None are shown on the plans so there is no work planned related to pedestrian signal systems. However, the Contractor is pointed to the requirements of S-74.6 which may require pedestrian signals as part of the Temporary Pedestrian Accessible Route.
